decreto real datado de 11 de mar\u00e7o de 1867, El-Rei <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lu%C3%ADs_I_de_Portugal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">D. Lu\u00eds I<\/a> atribu\u00eda o t\u00edtulo de 1.\u00b0 Visconde de Valmor ao lamecense Jos\u00e9 Isidoro Guedes. As armas concedidas ao Visconde, por carta de 28-VIII-1855, est\u00e3o registadas no Cart\u00f3rio da Nobreza na Torre do Tombo no <a href=\"https:\/\/digitarq.arquivos.pt\/viewer?id=4162400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">L.\u00ba IX<\/a> a fls. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Este nosso ilustre conterr\u00e2neo deu \u00e0 sua cidade a Alameda Municipal, pois foi a expensas suas que tal foi poss\u00edvel. Tratava-se da antiga cerca dos Gracianos que, depois de ser expropriada, ficou ao abandono e \u00e0 merc\u00ea das pilhagens, apresentando um quadro triste e lament\u00e1vel. Foi ent\u00e3o que o digno par do reino Isidoro Guedes interveio, dando 500 000 reis para que se fizessem os melhoramentos de forma a reabilitar a cerca e transform\u00e1-la num parque. Apesar desta importante d\u00e1diva, as contas ainda n\u00e3o estavam equilibradas. Foi necess\u00e1rio vender pedra que era retirada do parque para contrabalan\u00e7ar o or\u00e7amento. Com os ventos das mudan\u00e7as no Estado Novo, passou a denominar-se Parque Oliveira Salazar, retomando o de Isidoro Guedes no p\u00f3s 25 de abril de 1974.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Isidoro Guedes foi <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Par_do_Reino\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">par do reino<\/a>, de 1853 a 1870, e deputado da na\u00e7\u00e3o em 1846, retomando fun\u00e7\u00f5es de 1848 a 1851. Foi agraciado com as comendas da <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ordem_de_Cristo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ordem de Cristo<\/a> e a de <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ordem_de_Nossa_Senhora_da_Concei%C3%A7%C3%A3o_de_Vila_Vi%C3%A7osa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">N.\u00aa S.\u00aa da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o de Vila Vi\u00e7osa<\/a>. Este novo recinto foi constru\u00eddo pela C\u00e2mara Municipal e representa um investimento global superior a 70 mil euros.
